The project is co-chaired by Dr. Nguyen Phu Tho and Msc. Dang Chi Thien, and CASTA is the lead agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project has been carried out with the main objective to determine the antioxidant activity and anti-fungal level of young rice can for applying to the production of functional foods and skin care cosmetics. The duration of the project is from July 2021 to June 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Up to now, the project has carried out the main work contents:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Identification of rice varieties with high antioxidant activity, light coverage and appropriate growth stage of rice plants capable of biosynthesis of high antioxidant active ingredients suitable for production of young rice flour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Develop a process to produce young rice flour with a scale of 1 kg\/batch<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Determination of rice varieties, light coverage and appropriate growth stages of rice plants capable of biosynthesis of active ingredients with high resistance to Candida, suitable for production of young rice extracts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Develop a process for producing young rice extract with a scale of 1 liter\/batch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The council highly appreciated that the project has been carried out in accordance with the description with the work progress and the product meeting the requirements.
