Attending the workshop were over 80 delegates representing the plant and animal varieties protection agency, the Office of Intellectual Property Office in Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City, Institute, School, Seed Center, Center for Information and Application of Science and Technology of provinces in the Mekong Delta region. The conference was organized in collaboration between Phu Sa Biochemistry One Member Limited Liability Company and Can Tho Center for Application of Science and Technology Advancement. At the conference, the delegates listened to presentations on issues related to establishing intellectual property rights for genetic resources of plants and animals such as: Gene sequencing technology in molecular diagnostics. at the Institute of Genome Research, Application of Molecular Biology in Evaluation of Genetic Diversity and Identification of Longan varieties, Application of Molecular Markers in livestock and poultry breeding and Challenges in plant variety protection grow. Mr. Tran Giang Khue, Deputy Head of Representative Office of the National Office of Intellectual Property in Ho Chi Minh City, stated the current situation, the industrial revolution 4.0 is taking place very quickly across many countries and has been developed by many countries such as: America, Japan, Thailand, ..have been effectively applied.
