On September 18 and 19, 2019, Can Tho University cooperated with the Vietnam Livestock Association to solemnly organize the 2nd International Conference on Animal Husbandry and Environment (The 2nd International Conference on Animal Husbandry). Production and Environment, APE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The objectives of the Conference are to: (i) exchange and share strategic directions, scientific and technical advances in the fields of animal husbandry, veterinary medicine, environment and related fields; at the same time (ii) establish and build relationships between institutes-schools-agencies-enterprises to promote training activities, research on livestock and environmental issues in the trend of integration and develop. In addition, the Conference is also the place to introduce and summarize some initial research results of scientific research topics in the field of livestock (A-3) and the environment (E-3, E-6). and E7) under the Can Tho University Upgrading Project with ODA loans from the Japanese Government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During two working days, the Conference focused on sharing and discussing issues on (i) animal husbandry such as genetics-breeds, animal feed-nutrients, biotechnology, product quality, animals y; and (ii) environment such as livestock waste management and treatment methods, agro-ecosystems adapting to climate change, monitoring and controlling environmental quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference attracted over 200 delegates from 22 schools\/institutes and 22 businesses in 12 different countries. A total of 53\/68 presentations were presented through 4 plenary sessions and 8 thematic sessions. There are 46 high-quality articles that have been independently reviewed, selected and published in English by leading experts in the Science and Technology Journal of Livestock Production (ISSN: 1859-476X) and Vietnam Environmental Journal (ISSN: 1859-476X) ISSN: 2193-6471).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is known that the 1st International Scientific Conference on Animal Husbandry was held by Can Tho University on December 13-14, 2012 with the participation of more than 1,500 guests from 14 countries, 27 companies, and 70 newspapers. Scientific reports are published in the yearbook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the sidelines of the Conference, Prof. Dr. Le Duc Ngoan (Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry, Vietnam) and Dr. Tiranun Srikanchai (Panyapiwat Institute of Management, Thailand) proposed the idea of \u200b\u200bcontinuing to host the third and fourth APE in the following years, 2020 and 2021, at these two units.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
