On the morning of October 1, 2020, the Department of Science and Technology of Can Tho city held a Scientific Council to accept the project “Application of CNC technology with 4 automatic billet cutting heads in wood processing” led by Mr. Loi Phong – Director of Loi Phat Co., Ltd. is in charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project is aimed at increasing the productivity of wood cutting from 20 panels\/day to about 25 boards\/day (an increase of about 20% compared to the present); Reduce employees from 5 people to 2 people; Increased machining accuracy from 0.5mm up to about 0.05mm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the implementation period, with experimental results and actual calculations, the project results show: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 The replacement of old, non-automatic CNC machines with automatic 4-head CNC machines for cutting and feeding workpieces should increase woodworking productivity by about 26%. Therefore, this project helps businesses increase revenue and meet the increasing needs of customers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Reduce labor from 5 people to 2 people<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Due to the use of MK4H Industrial wood cutting machine, the processing accuracy of wood parts is very high (about 0.05mm), ensuring aesthetics, increasing competitiveness in the market, assembling details. easy, accurate, reduce loss due to damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 The use of industrial wood cutting machine MK4H helps businesses handle dust and sawdust in factories more easily and effectively, helping to reduce pollution to the production environment and surrounding areas, and at the same time ensure environmental protection. Workers’ workplaces are cleaner, less dusty. With a short payback period of about 10 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project results have allowed enterprises to maintain stable production activities, increase productivity and product quality, diversify products, cut production costs, contribute to increasing competitiveness in the furniture market. domestic and foreign wood furniture. At the same time, the project also helps enterprises to produce in the direction of better labor safety and environmental protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Council members highly appreciated the project’s results and agreed to take over the project. However, the implementation team needs to make corrections according to the Council’s comments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
