From this fact, groups of students doing scientific research, scientific instructors need to focus, strengthen applied scientific research topics, actively seek out companies, enterprises, potential market for products from scientific research to be widely applied and deployed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Promoting scientific research in the direction of manufacturing commercial products and transferring technology according to the orders of enterprises is a difficult problem, requiring the cooperation between schools and businesses, as well as drastic changes. within the State’s mechanisms and policies, through the directional coordination and direction among ministries and branches. In addition, universities must actively change, considering this as a key task, bringing in the school’s revenue<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MSc. Nguyen Van Nghiem summarized and showed that the core of entrepreneurship is technology and innovation. Therefore, in order to support students to start a business and build a highly effective and sustainable startup ecosystem, it is necessary to connect with the education and training background. Students need more access to STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and hands-on experience while studying at the school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With many successful start-up and commercialization projects, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Trung Thien affirmed that commercializing university research results is an inevitable path for universities and research institutes in Vietnam today. This work brings about positive and beneficial changes for both sides, which are universities with new results and industrial companies applying the results to production and business. Successful research collaboration and commercialization also bring socio-economic progress. At present, this field is still in its infancy and needs the efforts of stakeholders including researchers, the support of faculties, departments and universities, mechanisms and policies of the governing bodies, the main support books of the local as well as the central.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
