Promote development of S&T market
The activity of connecting industry supply – demand is one of the specific and important solutions of the Ministry of Science and Technology in developing the S&T market; create a bridge between enterprises, units and organizations wishing to innovate technology and researchers and industry owners. According to statistics of the Department of Industrial Application and Development, currently, the whole country has 8 Points connecting industrial supply – demand in provinces and cities: Hanoi (2 points), Ho Chi Minh City, Phu Yen, Nghe An An, Dak Lak and Can Tho. In 2018, CN Supply-Demand Connection Points held 80 consultations, seminars, connecting supply and demand; introduced and demonstrated nearly 200 S&T products; successfully signed 10 industrial transfer contracts with a total value of nearly 5 billion VND… In addition, there are currently 40 industrial needs of 30 enterprises with an investment value of over 170 billion VND being introduced through various channels. this point. It is expected that in 2019, the Ministry of Science and Technology will establish 3 new Industrial Supply – Demand Connection Points in 3 provinces and cities: Hai Phong, Ba Ria – Vung Tau and Gia Lai.
In big cities and provinces, it has been bringing high efficiency in promoting investment cooperation in applied research, technological innovation and development of the S&T market.
There is no real science and technology market in agricultural production to improve the efficiency of linkage between research products of institutes and universities and commercialization in enterprises. A representative of the Mekong Delta Rice Institute pointed out: “The copyright issue of agricultural technical advances is very difficult, because mechanisms and policies on copyright protection have not been well implemented; Therefore, this is also one of the reasons affecting the formation of the market for S&T products in agricultural production.
