Workshop on “Application of Freeze-Drying Technology in Industrial-Scale Production and Measurement Testing Services for Small and Medium Enterprises in Long An Province”

On the morning of March 18, 2024, the Long An Center for Application, Engineering, and Scientific Information Technology organized the workshop titled “Application of Freeze-Drying Technology in Industrial-Scale Production and Measurement Testing Services for Small and Medium Enterprises in Long An Province.”

Attendees included representatives from the Department of Science and Technology centers in various provinces and cities, including Cần Thơ, Đồng Tháp, Tây Ninh, and Bến Tre, as well as leaders and representatives from business associations, cooperatives, and enterprises in Long An Province.

At the workshop, BEAR Food Technology Co., Ltd. introduced the “Application of Freeze-Drying Technology in Industrial-Scale Production.” In the field of food technology, freeze-drying is an advanced process carried out at low temperatures and pressures. After freezing, products are placed in a vacuum environment where water vapor transitions directly from a solid to a gaseous state. This process helps maintain the product’s structure, nutritional content, and color, enhancing the quality and value of the final product.

Additionally, representatives from Quatest 3 (the Southern Center for Technical Standard Metrology and Quality) provided guidance on product quality announcements and emphasized key considerations for ensuring the quality of freeze-dried products before they are released to the market. The workshop also introduced the functions and tasks of the Long An Center for Application, Engineering, and Scientific Information Technology, along with upcoming measurement testing services to support enterprises.
