On the morning of June 14, 2023, the Party Committee of the Department of Science and Technology of Can Tho city held a meeting to review the midterms of the implementation of the Congress Resolution for the 2020-2025 terms.
Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Van San – Head of the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of Can Tho City’s Civil Affairs Department, Mr. Vo Van Hon – Deputy Head of the Party Committee’s Organization Department of the Party Committee of Can Tho City’s Civil Affairs Department, Mr. Ngo Anh Tin – Member, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Department of Science and Technology and all Party members of the Department of Science and Technology of Can Tho city.
The Conference approved the preliminary report of the midterm of the implementation of the Resolution of the 12th Party Congress of the Department of Science and Technology, term 2020 – 2025; Report on review of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Department of Science and Technology. At the same time, the Conference acknowledged the contributions of the Party Committee members.
In the past half term, the Executive Committee of the Party Committee and its members has united, striving to achieve and exceed the targets and tasks set out by the Resolution in the following aspects: Party building work (mainstream education work). ideological governance, organization and building of the party, inspection, supervision and enforcement of discipline within the Party), leadership in the performance of political tasks (organization of professional tasks, implementation of democracy in agencies and units, implementation of administrative reform, anti-corruption and anti-corruption work), leaders of unions Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van San – Head of the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of Can Tho City’s Civil Affairs Department highly appreciated the achievements of the Party Committee of the Department of Science and Technology. In the coming time, it is suggested that the Party Committee of the Department of Science and Technology continue to lead, identify appropriate and effective tasks and solutions, and strive to successfully implement the goals and resolutions proposed by the Congress. In which, focusing on the following tasks: renewing, improving the quality of activities of the cell, ensuring the work of self-criticism and criticism; paying attention to fostering party members, developing new sources of party members; well perform the annual inspection and supervision; actively fight against corruption and negativity; strengthen the leadership role of the Party Committee in carrying out assigned political tasks.
