On the morning of August 19, 2024, the Department of Science and Technology of Can Tho City held a ceremony to announce and hand over decisions regarding personnel matters. Attendees included Mr. Ngo Anh Tin – Member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Director of the Department of Science and Technology; and Ms. Tran Hoai Phuong – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology.
At the ceremony, a representative from the Office of the Department of Science and Technology announced the decision of the Director of the Department to appoint Mr. Nghiem Phong Vu as the Director of the Center for Application of Science and Technology Progress.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Ngo Anh Tin congratulated Mr. Nghiem Phong Vu on being entrusted with the new role by the Department of Science and Technology. The Director requested that Mr. Nghiem Phong Vu, in his role as the Director of the Center for Application, leverage his work experience, quickly adapt to the new responsibilities, fulfill the tasks assigned to him, and contribute to the overall development of the Department of Science and Technology.
In his speech at the ceremony, Mr. Nghiem Phong Vu expressed his deep gratitude to the leadership for their trust and commitment to putting forth his utmost effort to successfully complete his duties, contributing to the continued development and strengthening of the Center for Application of Science and Technology Progress.
