On the morning of May 11, 2023, at the connection point between supply and demand of technology and equipment – Center for Application of Science and Technology Advancement (An Giang Department of Science and Technology) took place the opening ceremony of “Connection session of technology and equipment supply and demand”. This is an event to celebrate Vietnam Science and Technology Day 18/5. Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Deputy Director in charge of Southern Affairs Department, Ministry of Science and Technology, leaders of Departments of Science and Technology of Mekong Delta provinces, organizations and enterprises in and outside An Giang province.
The networking session took place in 2 days (from May 11 to 12), at Nguyen Du Lake (No. 36 Le Loi, My Binh Ward, Long Xuyen City), with 40 booths of 37 units and businesses in and participating out-of-province. In which, there are 22 companies, together with Loc Troi Agricultural Research Institute, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry, An Giang University, Center for Application of Science and Technology Advancement in provinces: Long An, Vinh Long, Hau Giang, Can Tho, along with centers and units in An Giang participate, display products, technology equipment, OCOP products, start-up products, products granted the An Giang certification mark.
The units displayed and introduced equipment and technologies in the fields of high-tech agriculture, production models of all kinds of materials; post-harvest technology, food technology, aquaculture seed production, application of intelligent control in animal husbandry, cultivation, digital transformation in enterprises…
During the event, the following activities will also take place: Innovation startup training in 2023; Scientific conference on the role of science and technology in the development of collective economy and enterprises; Workshop to evaluate the results of application of medical equipment combined with traditional medicine in the treatment of musculoskeletal pain.
