On the afternoon of September 27, 2019, the Department of Science and Technology of Can Tho City held the Science and Technology Council to approve the project “Application of a closed production line in the production of dietary supplements, probiotic chemicals, environmental treatment chemicals in aquaculture” is led by Mr. Vo Thanh Toan – Director of AQUAVINA Trading Production Co., Ltd.
The research aims to increase the production of the company’s products to the original level; increase the accuracy of weight/volume of weighing/measurement and packaging/bottle of products (it is expected that 99.5% of products through automatic weighing/measurement will meet the requirements of weight and volume); improve the uniformity in the output product when applying automatic weighing/measurement and automatic mixing of materials; reduce loss (0.1% of total manufactured product) in the production process (due to clinging to weighing/measuring tools or falling during manual extraction and packaging).
Advantages and disadvantages of the device:
Advantages: The equipment is simple and easy to operate, and it does not take time to train workers; easy to recruit labor because it does not require the qualifications of workers; Easy to manage, monitor and convenient production time regardless of energy.
Disadvantages: Due to simple equipment, the working efficiency is not high, the output of manufactured goods only meets 20% of the market’s demand; product quality is not uniform, not yet meet the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015 standard of the company being applied; The production cost is high, so it is difficult to compete. Due to high labor costs and loss in the production process (mixing, weighing, measuring products).
The Council has unanimously approved the project’s explanation, however, the Board of Directors needs to revise some contents accordingly.
