CASTA RESEARCHED AND MANUFACTURED EQUIPMENT FOR AGRICULTURAL ION WATER BASED ON THE APPLICATION OF MAGNETIC AND ELECTRONIC TECHNOLOGY

Climate change greatly affects saltwater intrusion in the Mekong Delta, leading to the deterioration of water quality for farming and domestic use. Soil contaminated with acid and salinity is a dangerous phenomenon that adversely affects the growth of many crops. In Vietnam, saline soil has approximately 2 million hectares, accounting for nearly 6% of the total natural land area. The salinization process is due to the influence of sea water, so the composition of soluble salts in Vietnam’s saline soil is similar to that of sea water. On the other hand, now, under the impact of climate change manifested as sea level rise, the problem of salinization could be a more serious risk. Therefore, it is urgent to improve agricultural irrigation water to increase the absorption capacity of crops.

The Center for Application of Scientific and Technological Advancement has researched and developed equipment to create agricultural ionized water to create water for agriculture to help improve the current saline water source; At the same time, it helps plants to use this water source and absorb nutrients in the soil well. Agricultural ionized water generators by passing ordinary water through an electromagnetic field (a system consisting of a permanent magnet or an electromagnet, combined with an electrolytic bath and a molecular impactor) will change the structure of the water. water. Water after treatment will have physicochemical changes in water such as reducing surface tension and EC, pH of water, breaking hydrogen bonds between water and salt ions, increasing agglomeration of NaCl salt crystals, reducing size group of water-mineral molecules and increase water activity, decrease viscosity, boiling point. The smaller group size of the magnetic water molecule makes it easier for water to be absorbed into the soil and plant cells, enhances soil moisture, reduces total water-soluble solids (TDS), prevents precipitation of salt, helps to wash the soil better. Magnetic watering helps to increase the content of Mg and Ca adsorbed in the soil by 5%, increasing the concentration of CO2 and H+ in the soil, helping to dissolve fertilizers when applying, increasing the useful P content; however, magnetic water also causes direct K+ migration in sandy soils. With the benefits brought, using electromagnetic fields in the treatment of saline and alum water for irrigation and improvement of saline soil in the Mekong Delta is a new field in conserving land and water resources in the future.

Experiment on application of quantum mechanical technology to agricultural irrigation water in saline water 0 and 3‰ on broccoli at Can Tho University: Prepare irrigation water with 2 different salinities (0 and 3‰) for irrigated broccoli with 4 treatments, respectively, T1 (water supply, untreated (KXL) – fertilizer phase), T2 (supply water, treated (XL) – fertilizer phase), T3 (3‰ saline water), KXL – fecal phase), T4 (3‰ saline water, XL – fecal phase). The results showed that, after river water was run through the integrated magnetic system twice, the specific parameters in river water EC achieved a reduction of 21.3% at 3‰ salinity, SAR achieved a decrease in efficiency after treatment is 20.75%, the highest at 0‰ salinity, SO42- treatment efficiency is 15.67%.

Agricultural ion water generator to apply physical technology from magnetic fields and electrolysis to treat saline water. The advantage of this device compared to other methods is that the stability can be adjusted based on the changing parameters. Change of water source that integrates to suit each specific condition, reduces salt accumulation in the rhizosphere, improves the growth of plants on saline soils, increases leaf size, exchangeability The quality of the plant is significantly improved. In addition, it can also be combined with chemical biological methods to improve the efficiency of soil improvement and increase crop yield.

From agricultural ionizers, it shows that magnetic treatment technology can change the physical properties of water to help plants absorb nutrients in the soil and fertilizers better, avoiding excessive fertilizer residues in the soil. leading to degradation, contributing to the restoration of the increasingly shrinking arable land, this is a potential and effective solution to solve environmental problems in general and the agricultural sector in particular in the future.
