On the afternoon of August 11, 2023, CASTA held a workshop on “Application of technology for digital transformation in production and management”. The workshop aims to introduce technologies (information technology, artificial intelligence, etc.) for digital transformation in agriculture, industry, and education; successful digital transformation application models; and advise on forms of technology transfer.
Attending and chairing the workshop was Ms. Tran Hoai Phuong – Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Can Tho city. At the seminar, the presenters presented the presentations: “Application of digital controller in hard shell agricultural product processing equipment” – Dr. Tran Hai Nam-Head of Machine Building Department- University of Science and Technology-VNU-HCMC; “Information security in digital transformation” – CYBER SSI Joint Stock Company; “Increasing productivity and economic efficiency of hydroponic vegetable greenhouses using IOT (Internet of things) technology” – Agriconnect Company; Application of dynamic drying technology using solar energy in processing agricultural products in the Mekong Delta” – ITS Smart Technology Solutions Co., Ltd.
The delegates discussed to promote the application of digital technologies in the production process, especially agricultural production to increase productivity and save energy.
