Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology held the Trade Union Congress of Can Tho Department of Science and Technology for the term of 2023 – 2028

On the afternoon of April 27, 2002, Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology held the Trade Union Congress of Can Tho Department of Science and Technology for the term of 2023 – 2028 with the theme “Innovation – Democracy -” Solidarity – Development”.

Attending the Congress were Ms. Nguyen Thi Dieu Hien, Member of the Standing Committee of the Can Tho City Confederation of Labor – Chairman of the Can Tho City Public Employees’ Union; Mr. Ngo Anh Tin, Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Can Tho city, the Board of Directors of the Department of Science and Technology and 81 delegates representing 189 trade union members of the Department.

The Congress approved the Report on the results of the implementation of the Trade Union Resolution for the 2016-2021 term, the 2021-2023 period and the direction and tasks for the 2023-2028 term; Review report of the Executive Board for the 2016-2021 term, lasting until 2023.

During the last term, the Trade Union of the Department of Science and Technology has achieved and exceeded the set targets. For example: 100% of union members, civil servants, public employees and employees can study and thoroughly grasp the guidelines and guidelines of the party, policies and laws of the state, resolutions of trade unions; 100% of trade union members completed their tasks, trade union won the title of “strong trade union”, 100% of trade union group won the title of “advanced trade union group”; Introduce 50 elite union members to the Party for consideration and admission to the Party; 95% of female civil servants, public employees and workers registered for the title “Good at domestic work – doing housework”, 80% or more won the title of “Two good” at all levels. In addition, the Trade Union is always interested in taking care of the life, representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of public servants, public employees, employees, participating in social activities; Carrying out educational propaganda; Organizing emulation activities, cultural, artistic and sports activities; actively participate in building the Party, building a clean and strong government.

Recognizing the achievements of the Trade Union of the Department of Science and Technology of Can Tho city, the Union of Labor of Can Tho city presented a flag to the grassroots Trade Union of the Department of Science and Technology for its outstanding achievements in the emulation movement in 2022.

At the Congress, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of the Department of Science and Technology was elected for the term of 2023 – 2028, including 09 comrades. Simultaneously, elect a delegation to attend the City Trade Union Congress, including 04 official delegates and 01 alternate delegate.
