On May 28, 2020, the Department of Science and Technology of Can Tho city held a Council for Approval of the Project “Management and Development of Durian Brand Tan Thoi, Phong Dien District, Can Tho City” Dr. Le Van Banh Chairman, Co-Chair Mr. Nguyen Thanh Vu, Mekong Institute of Science and Technology is the lead implementation unit.
The project led by Dr. Le Van Banh as Chairman, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Vu co-chair, Mekong Institute of Science and Technology is the lead implementation unit.
The objective of the project is to build a model of effective management and exploitation of Tan Thoi durian collective brand, helping to increase the product value in the market.
The main contents of the Project include: Surveying the production, consumption and market development of Tan Thoi durian; establish a model of organization, management and effective exploitation of the Tan Thoi durian collective mark; Implement quality inspection to support connecting consumer markets for products; Evaluating the effectiveness of the model and proposing solutions to improve the value of Tan Thoi durian products.
