On January 15, 2020, the Department of Science and Technology of Can Tho city held a council to accept the project "Application of advanced complete packaging technology to improve the productivity of rice processing plants" led by Mr. Lam Minh Tri - Director of Co Do Agriculture Company Limited is the manager.
The goal of the project is to apply advanced rice bag packaging technology to increase efficiency by 2-3 times, capacity by 4-5 tons/hour, packaging cost by 30-40%, revenue increase from 30-40%, creating a closed and automated process to improve the efficiency and capacity of rice processing plants, reduce production investment costs, increase economic efficiency, and increase competitiveness for Business. According to the project management board, the installation of a complete and advanced rice packaging system in the direction of automation brings practical efficiency, solving the problem of improving productivity, creating products with designs, specifications and high quality increase competitiveness in the market. According to experts, the project needs to be replicated and implemented for many businesses operating in the field of rice trading and exporting in the area to solve the problem of design and quality of finished products for rice products. . The project evaluation council met the requirements and set goals and agreed on the acceptance of the project.
