On the morning of September 10, 2024, the Center for Application of Science and Technology Progress in Can Tho organized a training session titled “Guidelines for Using the Product and Goods Traceability Management System of Can Tho City” in Co Do District.
The training session was attended by representatives including Mr. Truong Hoang Phuong – Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Can Tho City; Mr. Le Chi Phuong – Deputy Chairman of the Co Do District People’s Committee; cooperatives, business households, and enterprises from Co Do District and Thoi Lai District, as well as local broadcasting agencies.
Participants followed presentations on: An overview of product and goods traceability; The benefits of applying product and goods traceability at organizations – Ms. Le Thi Nhu Y, from the Department of Quality Management for Agricultural, Forestry, and Aquatic Products of Can Tho City; A practical guide on how to use the portal of the Product and Goods Traceability Management System of Can Tho City based on the production processes at organizations – Mr. Tran The Duy, from the Center for Application of Science and Technology Progress in Can Tho; An introduction to programs supporting businesses in improving productivity and product quality, and the program for developing intellectual property in Can Tho City – Ms. Trinh Thi Ngoc Duyen, from the Specialized Management Department, Department of Science and Technology of Can Tho City; An introduction to support activities for cooperatives implemented by the Vietnam-Korea Industrial Technology Incubator – Mr. Tran Ha Dong Quan, from the Vietnam-Korea Industrial Technology Incubator.
Participants engaged in discussions, asking questions about the procedures for participating in the product and goods traceability system and the support programs for businesses and cooperatives.
The training session helped promote the application of the Product and Goods Traceability Management System software in the production and business activities of organizations and individuals, while enhancing state management in traceability implementation at management agencies. Additionally, it introduced support programs for businesses and cooperatives managed by the Department of Science and Technology.
