On the morning of April 11, 2023, at the Department of Science and Technology of Can Tho city, a working session was held between the Department of Science and Technology of Can Tho city and a delegation of professors from the University of Picardie Jules Verne, French.
Attending the meeting, on the side of the Department of Science and Technology of Can Tho city, there were Mr. Ngo Anh Tin, Director of the Department of Science and Technology and leaders of departments and units under the Department; on the side of the delegation from the University of Picardie Jules Verne were Professor Nathalie JULLIAN-PAWL (Head of the BIOPI group “Original Metabolic Engineering”, Head of the Department of Bioengineering IUT Amiens), Professor Emérite Michèle BOITEL-CONTI (Laboratory of plant evolution and biology – Department of Bioengineering).
The two sides discussed in order to agree on the contents of signing the Memorandum of Understanding between the Department of Science and Technology of Can Tho city and the University of Picardie Jules Verne.
The Department of Science and Technology proposed cooperation contents between the two sides, including: (1) Exchange of students and/or teachers, teachers-researchers and researchers, engineers or officials administrative; (2) Cooperation in science and technology programs; (3) Cooperation in the fields of innovative start-ups, technological innovation, intellectual property, radiation and nuclear safety; (4) Cooperation in the organization of experiential learning and scientific conferences.
The two sides agreed on the proposed contents and committed to promote the next steps to sign the Memorandum of Understanding as soon as possible.
