On October 4, 2019, the Department of Science and Technology of Can Tho City held a Science and Technology Council to approve the project “Creating a database of potentials to form science and technology enterprises” by the Ministry of Science and Technology. Ths. Nguyen Thanh Dien and Mr. Chau Thien Ngoc as co-chair. Can Tho Science and Technology Information Center is the project lead agency.
The project is aimed at creating and developing a science and technology market in Can Tho city, making Can Tho city the focal point and center of the science and technology market in the Mekong Delta; applying the achievements of computer science in building the S&T business evaluation system to promote the establishment and development of S&T enterprises, contributing to the development of the S&T market of Can Tho city.

The implementation of the project includes: survey and classification of organizations and individuals engaged in science and technology activities with potential to form science and technology enterprises; Building a database of S&T organizations and individuals that have the potential to form S&T enterprises and data on the S&T market in Can Tho city; Building a market information sharing system, S&T enterprises and an evaluation system of S&T enterprises based on the database compiled in Content 2; Workshop to promote and introduce the project “Creating a database of potentials to form science and technology enterprises”.
The implemented project will be the foundation for implementing support programs for S&T enterprises, thereby reducing costs and improving production efficiency, contributing to the development of enterprises as well as creating favorable conditions. employees can promote creativity, help improve the material and spiritual life of employees.
