Can Tho University of Engineering and Technology organizes a specialized seminar on Construction with the theme “Application of Science and Technology in Construction”
In order to better serve scientific research activities and train human resources for the construction industry and related majors, it is possible to publish and exchange research results and academic exchanges towards technology. techniques for sustainable construction, on November 29, 2019, Can Tho University of Engineering and Technology held a specialized construction workshop with the theme “Application of Science and Technology in Construction”.
Attending the seminar were the Director of the Department of Construction of Can Tho city, managers and scientists of the schools: Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho University, Western Construction University, Tra Vinh University, Southern Can Tho University, Can Tho College, Can Tho Vocational College… and guests from companies companies and construction enterprises participated in the conference.
Opening remarks, Mr. Assoc. Dr. Huynh Thanh Nha hopes that the scientific reports presented in the seminar will be the basis for the University to promote the application and transfer of scientific research results associated with the market and social needs for specialists. construction industry of the University and as well as other majors of the University.
The conference gathered articles from scientific research with many novelties, posing many problems to be researched, solved and the reality of the construction industry by officials and lecturers at universities, college.
This seminar focused on three (03) main issues: 1) exchange, propose solutions, research on science and technology in the structure of construction works; 2) exchange and propose new studies on the application of new building materials in construction; 3) exchange, propose solutions, effective research in construction management, construction economics.

In addition, the seminar also attracted students of Can Tho University of Engineering and Technology and students of Can Tho University to attend. The seminar “Application of Science and Technology in Construction” gives students the opportunity to improve their specialized knowledge and accumulate for themselves the skills of writing research papers as well as presenting problems.
